It’s somewhat shocking when you realize that the first lockdown was a year ago. Throughout this pandemic, the Coventry Village community has shown incredible resilience and solidarity. We’ve gotten to see the magic of our local community firsthand through your faithful support. Coventry Village is incredibly grateful to our vibrant community for showing up day in and day out through this challenging year.
Our unique main street has seen many community members roll through, with regular foot traffic keeping the Village alive. We love seeing our diverse residents every day, strolling through our uniquely walkable neighborhood. Thanks to these community members and our unique neighborhood design, many small businesses have been drawn to our community. In fact, during the pandemic, we have had more small businesses open than close, a feat we are incredibly proud of. Many merchants including Happy Bees, Vitrum Smoke Shop, Soba Asian Kitchen, and Made Cleveland’s Pop-Up shop, and more have opened their doors to the Coventry Village community.
This month, join us in welcoming five brand-new merchants to our community. We know that our incredible community will make our newest merchants feel right at home. Without further ado, meet our newest merchants!
After a year in sweats and PJ’s, we are all dying for a new ‘fit. Charley’s Closet will not only give you a fresh new look but leave you with a refreshed sense of style. Charley’s Closet is owned and operated by the fashion-forward Charley York, native to Cleveland, Ohio. Charley strives to help women of all shapes and sizes find their unique sense of style.
Charley plans to expand CCB into different cities and is currently looking at Columbus, Ohio, then expanding out of state with plans to expand across the USA.
We asked Charley why she chose Coventry Village and she said:
“To be honest, I never thought I’d have a space here. I believe it was destiny. My grandma actually gave me the idea that Cleveland Heights would be an awesome city to place a store like mine, and last year is when I found the space I’m in now. When I toured the space, something about it just felt right. I trust my intuition and I trust God. So I went with it, and now I’m loving everything about it — from the atmosphere, to the local businesses around me. Everyone’s so nice and looks forward to you succeeding. I’ve came to Coventry Village many times growing up, but being here everyday gives me a new sense of how strong the community is in Coventry Village. I love it!”
Charley has big plans for her future in Coventry Village, plans you don’t want to miss! Check out what’s in stock by clicking here:
